A piston compressor is a mechanical device that relies on the reciprocating motion of a piston to pressurize and transport gas. It is a positive displacement compressor, also known as a "reciprocating piston compressor" or "reciprocating compressor".
Its working principle is based on the reciprocating motion of the piston in the cylinder. When the piston moves toward one end of the cylinder, the volume of the working chamber decreases and the gas is compressed; conversely, the gas is sucked in. After many such cycles, the gas compression ratio and temperature gradually increase, and finally reach the predetermined pressure and temperature before being discharged.
